青島万科城
敷地は高低差が約20mの山裾に位置する。再開発により現況地形は失われたが、背後の山々、遠方の街並みを望む伸びやかな景観が広がる。私達はこの魅力を顕在化させるために幾層ものテラスと有機的な斜面、高木による列植を積層させた。通りから人々を誘うように配されたテラスには商業施設が組み込まれ、憩いや賑わいの核となる。斜面とのコントラストやリズムにより、豊かな自然に抱かれたダイナミックな景観が創出された。また本件は中国の集合住宅に代表されるゲートコミュニティーではなく、敷地を一般来訪者にも公開した挑戦的な試みでもある。居住者のみならず様々な人々による賑わいや交流が住区の魅力に貢献すると考えた。

Vanke City International Apartment
Located at the skirts of the mountain where the difference in altitude is 20m. The original topography of the site has been lost, yet the cityscape and the lush green mountain views continues to stretch far beyond. In order to preserve this beauty, we layered tall trees and terraces utilizing land’s organic slopes. These terraces have become commercial facilities, where people gather and rest. Furthermore, a dynamic landscape enveloped in nature is created through contrasts and the rhythm of slopes. It is also a public space where non-residents come and gather along with residents, in order to create a space filled with vibe, unlike typical gateway communities that is very much common in China’s residential complex.
