金澤雅壇
金沢駅と近江町市場を結ぶメインストリート「金沢駅通り」に面した集合住宅と権利者店舗による再開発であり、隣接する用水路際の市道（歩行者専用道路）も含めてシームレスなデザインを施した。東西南北方向の歴史的な区角割と金沢駅通りの斜め45度の軸により切り取られた敷地に対して、この軸の重なりをアイデンティティとして顕在化させ構成した。「格子」「帯家具」「辻屋敷」や金沢通りの歩道で使われている赤御影の舗装と言った「金沢」を感じる要素を敷地内にちりばめ、金沢で暮らす喜びに満たされた空間となる事を目指した。街歩きの合間にちょっと立ち寄る、居住者が庭先でくつろぐと言った滞在スペースを適度な距離感で配置することで、居住者同士や来街者、近隣住民が自然に出会いコミュニケーションを育むことを意識した。

Kanazawa Gadan
Facing Kanazawa Station Street, the main street connecting Kanazawa Station and Omimachi Market, this redevelopment project pursued a seamless design that consists of a residential complex and shops, including the adjacent city road (pedestrian-only road) by the canal. The site is cut off by a 45-degree diagonal axis of Kanazawa Station Street and the historical ward divisions in all four directions, and the overlap of these axes was made apparent as the identity of the site. We aimed to create a space filled with the joy of living in Kanazawa by incorporating elements of this city into the site, such as lattices, obi furniture, Tsuji yashiki, and the red granite pavement used on the sidewalks of Kanazawa-dori. Creating small gathering spaces within the garden also allows for residents, neighbors and visitors to engage with one another.
