銀座通り 植栽計画
4社の協働により各々異なるコンセプトにてストリートスケープを展開している。私達が担当した5-8丁目西側は笹を主体にもちいて日本を感じる景を添えた。日本固有種が多くパイオニアプランツである笹は、林床や笹原として原風景の下地を担う。また日本文化を象徴する要素として衣食住の身近に寄り添う存在でもある。多様な姿をもつ笹を店舗が軒を連ね伝統と革新をもつ銀座通りと重ね合わせた。常緑の笹群の中に季節変化を楽しめる草花も彩りのアクセントとして加え、混在する魅力をつくっている。

New Ginza Streetscape
Four landscape offices collaborated and created the streetscapes of Ginza-dori with different concepts. We were in charge of the west area of 5-8 blocks. We used Bamboo grass that is endemic to Japan to portray a scenery of forest floors and bamboo groves in nature, and to add a Japanese feel to the landscape. In addition, Bamboo is the symbolic element of Japanese culture, and a familiar element in our life. Bamboos in their various forms are superimposed on Ginza-dori, a street lined with stores and characterized by tradition and innovation. The evergreen bamboos are accented with flowers and grasses that changes its appearance with each season.
