尼崎パーキングエリア
阪神高速３号線・神戸線上りの高架上にあるパーキングエリア。 およそ270mに及ぶ緑のスクリーンの実現と、高架上での良好な植栽基盤の確保による緑の充実を目指した。細長い敷地に沿う緑のスクリーンは、駐車スペースに面するエリアや建物の背後にあり室内から間近に見られるエリア、また人が集まる憩いの場に面するエリアなど、ここでの様々なシーンを横断する重要な景観要素となる。スクリーンを構成するつる植物は常緑性とし、シーンに応じて複数の種類を混植することで多様な表情と彩をを見せる。既存躯体上における限られた植栽基盤でありながら、高架上であることを忘れてしまうような木漏れ日の風景を提供している。

Amagasaki Parking Area
This is a parking area positioned on an elevated site on Hanshin Expressway (Kobe Line). We aimed to create a green screen of approximately 270m wide and enhance the green scenery by selecting good planting base on the elevated site. The thin and narrow green screen along the site is positioned in the parking area and behind the building, and it is visible from the inside of the building as well. In addition, this strip of green acts as an important landscape element that traverses various scenes. The vines that make up the screen are evergreen, and by planting multiple types together creates a variety of expressions and colors. Despite the limited planting base on the existing site, the screen provides a view of sunlight filtering through the trees that makes one forget that it is on an elevated structure.
