NSENGI 北九州技術センター
環境モデル都市として様々な環境問題に力を入れ、かつて経済成長の代償として失った豊かな風景を取り戻しつつある北九州市。ここに老築化した社屋の一部を取り壊し、生産性向上と業務の効率化を図りつつ、環境問題に取り組む企業の姿勢を表す新しいスタイルのオフィスを建設する。新社屋前面の大半が駐車帯と車寄せとなるが、樹木・照明・排水機能をまとめたランドスケープユニットを敷地全体に展開することで重層的な緑のグラデーションによる豊かな表情を生み出した。また緩やかな芝生のマウンドが来訪者をエントランスへと優しく導き、企業イメージを象徴する「庭」として迎えの景を創り出している。

NSENGI Kitakyushu Technology Center
This design for a new type of office in the environmental model city of Kita Kyushu is intended to express the company’s combined goals of environmental responsibility and improved productivity and efficiency. Although parking spaces occupy most of the space in front of the building, multi-purpose landscaping incorporates trees, lighting and water lines to form an attractive green environment. The sloped lawn leads visitors gently to the entrance, welcoming them with a garden that symbolizes the company image.
