三井アウトレットパーク
横浜ベイサイド
1998年から運営されていた日本初の本格アウトレットモールの全面建替え計画。道路を挟んで３つの敷地にまたがる施設配置に対して、ランドスケープデザインでは「桟橋」をデザインモチーフとした景観的要素を全体に鏤めることで一団の商業施設としての魅力とトータリティを生み出す計画とした。また街区ごとの異なる特徴を活かしつつ素材や構成に共通性を持たせることで、どこにいてもマリーナの雰囲気を感じることができる空間演出をし、買い物合間の休憩や子供たちの遊び場など様々なスタイルでの滞在が可能な設えを随所に備えた。各々がお気に入りの場所を見つけながら一日中楽しめる施設を目指した。

This is a total reconstruction project of Japan's first full-scale outlet mall, which had been in operation since 1998. The facilities are located on three different sites across the street from each other. With ‘The Pier’ at its core concept, the landscape was designed to create a feel of totality and beauty within a space of commercial facilities. The facility is also designed to provide a space where visitors can feel the atmosphere of the marina wherever they are by utilizing the different characteristics of each district and creating commonality in the materials and composition of the space. The focus was to create a facility where visitors can enjoy themselves in whatever style they wish to please, all day long.
