ららテラス HARUMI FLAG
「TOKYO 2020」2021年に開催された東京オリンピック。その選手村として開発され、その後マンション群として再開発された「HARUMI FLAG」内のライフスタイル型商業施設「三井ショッピングパーク ららテラス HARUMI FLAG」のランドスケープデザイン。5,632戸、約12,000人の暮らしを支える商業施設として、地域コミュニティの醸成やオリンピック選手村としてのレガシーが感じられる施設となることを目指した。施設の正面となる西側に面して２列植栽された常緑樹のボスクは、国籍、性別、年齢、所属など、様々な人々が集まる場である商業施設のイメージを、数種類の樹種を郡で配置することにより表現している。またその樹下には、高さや大きさに変化をつけた白いリングが幾重にも重なり、南北２カ所の建物エントランスを繋ぐと共に、様々な居場所を設えた。これら通りに面する多様な憩いの場が、街路景観に賑わいと潤いを生み出している。

LaLa Terrace HARUMI FLAG
“TOKYO 2020”, an Olympic and Paralympic games held in Tokyo in 2021. “HARUMI FLAG” was originally built as the athlete village of Tokyo 2020, and its legacy was re-developed as residential buildings. We proposed a landscape design for “Mitsui Shopping Park LaLa Terrace HARUMI FLAG”, a lifestyle commercial complex built within HARUMI FLAG. As a commercial complex to support 5632 units and approximately 12000 residents, we aimed to create a place that nurtures a local community while leaving a sense of the legacy of the athlete village. The bosque of evergreen planted in two rows facing the main facade at the west represents the notion of the commercial complex where people of all nationalities, genders, ages, and affiliations come together by arranging several types of species in groups. Also, the white rings with multiple heights and dimensions are layered and overlapped underneath the trees, connecting south and north entrances while providing a variety of places to stay. These diverse places facing the public street boost a lively and attractive streetscape.
